About Karool Massage - Methods
Brandon Raynor Method—the Foundation of Karool Massage—offering the best of massages techniques from around the globe. From the firm, graceful and flowing movements found in Hawaiian—Lomi Lomi massage, to the deep therapeutic pressure found in a Japanese Shiatsu Massage allows the body to unwind gradually. An Eastern medical approach incorporates the best of Acupressure and Reflexology, bringing a holistic complementary perspective rather than just treating the symptoms. In addition, the genius of Thai massage is integrated throughout the massage. Lastly, yet perhaps most importantly, Ayurvedic breathing methods are encouraged throughout the massage. A Karool Massage is based on the eclectic and powerful teachings of Brandon Raynor, a method which provides a healing and unique experience for clients.
Stone Massage—Therapy from the Earth---A Karool Massage utilizes the methods from Egypt where stones were heated, oiled and placed on the body to elicit the release of toxins and tension in the body. These methods date back to the time of the pharaohs. Hand selected from areas around the Murrumbidgee River, as well as Australian Basalts from ancient volcanoes, smooth stones are heated and placed on key Meridian (pathways that carry our Chi—energy throughout our body). Chi in the Meridian system flows in a similar way to the Western perspective of the flow of the circulatory system. The weight and warmth of the stones enhance the relaxation and therapeutic massage experience. In addition to the therapeutic benefits of the warm stones, Cold stones are used on areas of the body where inflammation is present. The cold stone therapy provides relief and is surprisingly relaxing. Together the hot and cold stones relax and release tension from the body.
Pregnancy Massage--Touching the Future-A relaxing and rejuvenating experience for mothers and their bubs to be. A pregnancy massage is a beneficial physical experience as well as emotionally relaxing. Pregnancy impacts the body in many ways, from increases in blood volume to extra weight on the skeleton, it can make moving through space challenging at best. A pregnancy massage provides a bit of relief while facilitating better health for mother and child. Pre/Post Natal massage provides a well-deserved break for the new mother. (Note: New dads often find they enjoy the benefits a Karool Massage offers them as well).
Infant Massage—Infant massage class available upon request. Massage techniques from India and Sweden are the primary methods explored in the 2 hr class. Infant massage can begin from the moment the bub comes into the world. Giving an infant massage is soothing and therapeutic for the baby, and it relaxes you too. This gift will enable you to massage your child as he/she grows, a very bonding experience for all. Class held at Narrabundah Business Park.

Whether you’re very stiff, or incredibly flexible, a Thai massage moves you to the next level. You’ll experience a deep sense of relaxation in the power of the Thai yoga/massage.
